Wizards will be holding a beta this August (exact dates to be released soon). During the beta, our main focus will be stress testing the servers and fix bugs. To help with this we will be taking the following measures. [list] [*] Custom lobbies will be open but ranked matchmaking and normal matchmaking will be disabled. [*] The map editor and workshop will also be enabled so go crazy. [*] Only 4 of the 9 spell books will be enabled. [*] Spells will need to be unlocked using in-game currency that can be earned from just playing. [*] Item drops will also be enabled so you can begin to earn cosmetic upgrades. [*] Cosmetic micro-transactions will most likely be disabled so we can focus on improving game-play [/list] We'd like everyone to get a chance to participate so we'll be doing multiple beta periods.
