Let's recap what Siege of Irdor is all about.

In 1038 a gateway appeared out of nowhere from which all sorts of nightmares started to crawl out. Vast numbers of determined and fearful warriors stood against the army of darkness. They fought and died in huge numbers. Humanity stopped the Evil but... never defeated. Now they are back.

We play as the commander of The Wall. It is a massive blockade combined with the town and villages built after the previous War to protect the lands of Irdor.
After years of threat remaining silent, the whole place deteriorated. Now it's our task to rebuild the area, stop Shadows and find a way to defeat them once for all.

Gameplay-wise the game combines several well-known mechanics and add some twists to the genre.
The game divides into two stages - Night & Day. The Day is when we are building our town and economy, recruiting and upgrading troops, gathering food and resources.
This part of the game is a city builder with inspired games like the Settlers, Spellforce 3 or Northgard. We are also veterans of city builders classics like Zeus, Pharaoh or Caesar ant this will leave a mark on the Siege of Irdor as well. We don't want to make it too sophisticated but it should be more complex than Your average RTS game.

At Night the game is changing. During the Night, the game becomes a mix of classic RTS games with many tower defence mechanics. The Wall itself has a complex system of destruction that will sink our resources during the Day to repair breaches.

Who are the Shadows? Why did they come to this world, and why they were inactive for such a long time. Will You be able to save the Kingdom of Irdor, or will You fall under powers of darkness?

Currently, we are playtesting combat. SoI units come with various passives and skills, so there is a lot to balance. We are constantly improving graphics. The new trailer is basically ready, and we are just waiting for a cool event to publish it ;)
