We’re thrilled to announce the new season of Dwarven Realms: Eternal Peaks, launching this Friday, June 28th at 1 PM EST.
Eternal Peaks is our most ambitious season to date, with nearly every aspect of the game revamped. This includes the introduction of permanent characters, controller support, offline mode, a new UI, new end game progression systems, additions to crafting, and much more.
Here are some of the highlights from the Season 0.24 Patch Notes. We’ll add more details as we get closer to Friday:

[*] Permanent Characters: One of our most requested features ever. For players who prefer a non-seasonal experience and want to stick with their character forever, you can now create permanent characters.
[*] Controller Support: Another highly requested feature. While we're still ironing out a few things, you should now be able to play smoothly with a controller.
[*] Offline Mode: Many of you have asked for the ability to play without an internet connection, free from leaderboard competition. You can now enjoy the game offline.
[*] Revamped Rupture Gateways: We’ve merged the rupture and special dungeon gates into a single gateway, and created a map of the realms. This enhances storytelling, showcases the world, and highlights the amount of content available.
[*] UI Overhaul (Work in Progress): We've started revamping the menus, fonts, buttons, and more to make the interface more welcoming and user-friendly. This is part of a larger project, with continued improvements planned in the coming weeks.
[*] New Crafting Station: We've transformed the old throne into a new codex system. You can now upgrade yellow items to orange and select the exact modifiers you want.
[*] Improved Guidance for New Players: New screens now guide first-time players through the basic gameplay experience.
[*] Experimental Game Cinematics: We're testing new cinematics with voiceovers from a hobbyist game actor and AI-generated imagery. This aims to enhance the narrative and deepen player engagement with the story.
[*] New End Game Skills: We've added new skills for stances that were missing them. Dual wield for 1H stances, a bubble for Mauls and Staves, mirage archers for Archers, shadow mage abilities for Mages, a deadly round attack for Spears, and a new enraged mechanic for 2H.
[*] New End Game Progression System: We're building a new system to allow better end game progression with collected resources. Players can now turn in resources to increase faction with the elves and upgrade the elven capital.
[*] Ruptures Environment Overhaul: We've reworked most of the rupture environments to be more compelling and performant, with changes to earlier ruptures and continued updates throughout the season.
[*] Bug Fixes and Optimization: Tons of bug fixes and much better game performance and optimization.
[*] Audio Overhaul: We’ve remade and added numerous new audio effects for all attacks and abilities, aiming to revamp the entire game’s audio for launch.
[*] End Game Fellowship Progression (Work in Progress): More details will be shared soon.
[*] Tear Drops in Ruptures: Tear Drops now appear randomly in ruptures. Activating them will spawn mobs and a promised elite mob that drops a chest, making grinding more fun and essence collection faster.
[*] New Rupture Experience: Includes new mob spawn effects, new mob death by elemental effects, glowing effects when looting containers, and glowing effects when looting collectibles.

Abilities Changes:

[*]Fire Orb Base Damage has been increased from 1.2 to 1.9, will now tick 14 times instead of 14, each tik will give a damage bonus of 10% instead of 20%
[*]Spinning Blade Base Damage has been increased from 1.2 to 1.6 Cooldown has been reduced by 40%
[*]Starblade Base damage has been increased from 1.2 to 2, it will now tik 8 times instead of 4, and mod damage is doubledCooldown has been reduced by 40%
[*]Static charge wil l now explode 3 times, damage will be lower. Cooldown has been reduced by 30%
[*]Toxcicity Base Damage has been increased from 1.7 to 2.2 Cool down has been reduced by 1 second
[*]Arcane Apocalypse Base Damage has been increased from 2.5 to 4, they will tik 25% more and will stay longer. Cooldown has been reduced by 40%
[*]Arcane Totems Damage multiplier is now 4 instead of 2.5, Totems will now be 0.6. They will stay longer and tick longer. Cooldown has been reduced by 30%
[*]Dragon Flame Base damage is increased from 2.0 to 2.5, it will now tick 10 times instead of 6, and they will stay longer on the battlefield by 30% Cool down has been reduced by 1 second
[*]Burning shield radius has been increased by 25%, base damage has been increased from 0.9 to 1.5 Cool down has been reduced by 1 second
[*]Fire Totems damage has been increased from 1.7 to 2.4, radius has been increased, and number of totems places is increased from 7 to 9 Cooldown has been reduced by 30%
[*]Cracked Arcane Seed Now ticks 9 times insted of 6. Time between ticks is now 300ms instead of 600ms, damage multipler is now 2.4 instead of 1.7 Cooldown has been reduced by 20%
[*]Fire Beam Ticks 5 times instead of 6, off hand Mod bonus multiplier is now 40% lower
[*]Vortex damage has been increased from 1.3 to 1.6
[*]Rain of Fire damage has been increased from 0.9 to 1.5
[*]Lightning Plasma damage has been increased from 1.4 to 1.7
[*]Blood dragons base damage has increased from 2 to 2.5 and will now tik 8 times instead of 4, Cooldown has been reduced by 40%
