After some intense testing and some wonderful collaboration with community members we have a new bug fix patch release. There are a few new things snuck in, but mostly we targeted multiplayer stability and fixes. There are a couple of major changes and fixes that took place. Some of the major changes include a fix for jumpy behavior at low frame rates, client side world chunk caching, and localized player position updates. The full patch notes are included below.

• Changed tooltip for Stalagmite to Stalactite
• Removed collision of Stalactite
• Added a ladder block
• Reworked the physics engine
• More tooltip fixes than you can shake a stick at
• Added lots of missing recipes
• Bug: Fixed an issue with the heal rune unlock which would unlock AoE instead
• Removed Rune research for stun…. Stun is already a part of apply debuff.
• Chests can now have a name set which shows up in the mouse over tooltip
• Bug: Fixed an issue where the action set wouldn't display buttons and show blank
• Bug: Fixed an error with the multiplayer join menu
• Bug: Fixed a bug where your favorites list wouldn't display on load
• Bug: Fixed an issue where timing out would crash the game
• Position updates are now sent in local batches based on player position in the world
• Bug: Fixed a client physics bug when connected to another server
• Bug: Fixed an issue with missing assets with the dedicated server
• Bug: Fixed an issue where vanity slots wouldn't correctly override the parent armor
• Bug: Fixed a bug with lava not doing damage and acting like water
• Bug: Fixed an issue where certain client effects wouldn't spawn
• Like items dropped on the ground will now clump if they get close enough
• Chunks are now cached client side to reduce network requirements
• Placing solid blocks now removes liquid from a given location
• Bug: Grappling hook now clears on death
• Adjusted enemy spawn rates and checks
• Bug: Destroying rope while climbing will no longer result in being able to fly forever
• Disallowed surface structures from spawning in player spawn location
• Bug: Breaking a wall block behind a spawner will no longer despawn the mob it spawned
• Bug: Fixed a bug where it appeared water wasn't flowing
• Increased the sound fall off from mob / player noises
• Bug: Fixed an issue with the positional sound
• Added a sword to the spell projectile models
• Bug: Fixed an issue where the delay component would duplicate children
• Mark can now target an entity. So you can now target your friends and teleport to them.
• Added explosive trait
• Added an item to Vanfyr
• Bug: Fixed a scaling issue with the map on initial load
• Bug: Tweaked the map settings for more consistent generation.
• Tweaked the mob spawning rules to retry when no attempts worked
