After the poll we ran on discord it became very obvious on what the most requested feature for Spoxel was... the map! [h1]Patch Notes 0.6.8.3[/h1] • Added the dispel rune • Bug: Fixed an issue with spell research not working correctly • Bug: Fixed an issue where osx wouldn't close spoxel correctly • Simplified a gui based collision check to improve performance • Added a map to the game (default 'M' key to open or in the menu) ○ Has waypoints ○ Ability to zoom and pan • Bug: Fixed an issue where entities would temporarily disappear and reappear • Added a model for the spellbook (can be used in advanced crafting) • Added a model for the Archmage spellbook (can be used in advanced crafting) • New Archmage spellbooks now grant 5% spell mana usage reduction • The mana charged trait is now available for armor and boosts your mana pool by 50 mana • Added a corrupted feather • Added a purified feather • Added Double Jump Trait (use a purified feather on advanced crafted boots) • Added Windstone Necklace which gives double jump • Added rose seeds • Added daisy seeds • Daisies now drop… daisies instead of dissolving into thin air • Replaced icons for roses and daisies • Added an elven hilt • Bug: Fixed an issue where using torches in your offhand would remove your mainhand weapon • Bug: Fixed an issue where using a mana potion in your spellbook would remove the spellbook • Reworked how position updates are done in multiplayer for better syncing • Added a flag to skip launcher • Bug: Fixed an issue where you couldn't place blocks in a space because another entity was predicted to be there • Bug: Fixed a text spacing issue on the loading screen • Bug: Fixed an issue where removing a wall behind a multiblock would remove the foreground block and cause weird errors • When in the inventory menu you can now hit the hotbar keys (0-9) to swap whatever item your mouse is over with the corresponding hotbar slot • Reworked how I track what collidable blocks we are touching and their callbacks. This needs lots of testing (IE Rope) • Streamlined how visual effects are tracked internally for better performance • Bug: Fixed an issue where the bone spike ability required an arrow to function • Reorganized the client terrain handler to better handle chunk and block updates without impacting the rendering thread. This would commonly spike processing time as you moved around the world when terrain was loaded. • Holding left CTRL and clicking on an item in basic crafting now opens the help page • Changed the mobs that spawn in the surface tower to orc scouts • The necromancer dungeon now spawns Necrotic Skeletons • Added enchanted bones to the drop table (used in padding and found in the necro dungeon) • Added frosty bewitched cloth • Added bug silk • Changed angelic padding icon • Added enchantment dust • Corrected Recipes for all padding types (not all ingredients are available yet outside of creative) Redid the checkbox marker so it is confusing
