Rogues of Europa is a gothic roguelike RPG. Fight the physical and metaphysical evils brewing below the surface of a rapidly modernizing society.
I was working on a bit more life stuff this week, so not too much got done in Rogues of Europa. However, I do have a desk now, which should improve my productivity. I'm almost all moved in now.
The tinkering system should be ready by next week. I have nearly every illuminated panel ready, and then it's just implementation. I'll release an update soon so you all can play with it, even in the soon-to-be-old-style quest system. The goal with the tinkering system is to not have a "meta" tinker weapon to deploy, but rather encourage situational weapon deployment based on what parts the player has access to.
I have also added an autosave feature this week. The game will autosave when the "curtains" fall (i.e., when the player goes up or down stairs, goes on a train, sleeps, and so on). I will add a feature to have a time-based autosave which will save every so often (user-defined), because you may want autosaves when just walking around. The saving will take a short but noticeable amount of time, so it will very slightly disrupt play, but you will have the option to turn it off or reduce it's frequency if it becomes annoying to you.
