Update v.0.7: Neural Network

Pirate Patrol

Command your carrier ship and lead covert operations against a ruthless enemy in this immersive sci-fi tactical RPG. Send your fighters on missions, loot, upgrade your ships and train new officers and pilots.

Player control over the Neural Network, one of the most strategic features of Pirate Patrol, has now reached its final form. By swapping out the mother ship's Neural Network Chip, players can upgrade this network to suit their needs. Neural Network Chips can be found in the wreckage of enemy ships or other debris in space. They can also be bought and sold on trading stations and planets. Neural network capacity: Determines the running time of the network. The higher this value is, the longer you can run the neural network without interruption. Network Normalization Speed: Your ability to use the neural network depends on your crew's mental and physical ability to withstand the strain of the network. This value symbolizes the speed at which the crew's mental and physical readings return to normal after the network has been run. The higher the value, the faster the Nural Network will normalize and "get back on track". 3. Energy Consumption: This value, like all other major ship equipment, indicates the amount of energy consumed by the chip. If the total energy consumed by all the ship's equipment is greater than the energy produced by the ship's reactors, you will not be able to use that equipment. You must either replace other high energy consuming equipment with low energy consuming items, or replace the ship's reactor modulator with a model that produces more energy. ***
-Improvements:
You will now see color codes on the left side of items on the main ship configuration screen and at trading stations. These color codes make it easier to tell which item is which at a glance, making it easier to keep track of inventories that can grow to hundreds of items in later stages.
