Command your carrier ship and lead covert operations against a ruthless enemy in this immersive sci-fi tactical RPG. Send your fighters on missions, loot, upgrade your ships and train new officers and pilots.
The v0.6.5 update introduces a new factor to the game, armour detail. You can now replace the main ship's security system, the Armor Frequency Regulator Chip, with new models and control the amount of damage the main ship takes.

The Armor Frequency Regulator Chip generates vibrations at a subatomic level that reduce the effect of incoming fire on the main ship's special alloy armour. These chips of varying quality can be found in loot drops and trade stations throughout the game.

"How to Play" Section

As Pirate Patrol continues to grow in tactical depth and detail, we recognise that our players need practical and easy-to-understand gameplay support.

Thanks to the "How to Play" section, which we have placed in the main menu at the start of the game and in the "Settings" menu, where it is easily accessible at any time during the game, players will be able to easily learn how to do what in the game with the help of explanations placed on the screenshots. These informative screens can be played back and forth by clicking on the arrows.
In addition, those who wish to revisit the information in the tutorial screens can access the tutorial information they missed in the 'Tutorial Screen' tab in the 'How to Play' section.

Changes to Fighter Launches and Preparations

A quick note... During the Early Access process, we noticed that many of our friends were complaining about fighters not responding to the "launch" command during the 2-3 second preparation process, as we could not clearly explain to our players why fighters were launched with a delay and not "simultaneously".
In fact, our goal here was to shorten or lengthen the fighter preparation times depending on the effectiveness of the ship's engineering and logistics operations and the skills of the officers involved, thus increasing the RPG depth of the game.
There is also a very successful short video explaining what we mean:
[previewyoutube=81Q0ElGtToE;full][/previewyoutube]
However, as we have not yet implemented officer skill trees in the game, players have to endure the maximum preparation time for fighter preparation .
In order not to spoil the fun for our players at this stage of Early Access, we have reduced fighter preparation times to zero. As a result, you can now send all 5 fighters into space from the launch tubes at the same time.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a crash that could occur when dropping a missile into the turret slot on the weapons/equipment change screen of the mothership.

Fixed a bug that was resetting the weapon blueprint in the deployable turret tower after mission completion.

Fixed a bug that prevented fighter weapons and missiles from dealing damage to enemies based on their stats.

A number of minor bugs have been fixed that were interfering with the smooth running of the game.

Your comments and feedback are very helpful and valuable to us. Thank you for supporting Pirate Patrol during Early Access.
