Hi everyone, Here's the changelogs since last week:
Recent changes
New features: •New medical animations. •New Colt m1911 animations. •New M1 Bazooka animations. •New M2 Flamethrower animations. •New Browning m1919 animations. •Added US MG Squads in Anzio campaign. •Heavily changed bullet system + added new ammo types. Fixes: •Improved the way weapons manage chambered bullets. •Improvements in battle and achievements balancment. •Improved transition between animations (FPS). •Adjustments in animations (FPS). •Fixes in Map & Mission editor. •Improvements with bipod system. •Fixed a bug where magazine was invisible sometimes when switching to another unit in the squad. •Fixes with some weapon aim alignment. •Several other smaller changes and fixes suggested on the Discord server. Since today we will start with the TPS animation rework, hard to say how long it will take, but probably less than the FPS animation rework. We will still provide changes and fixes in the FPS animations and we will of course still add new weapons that will require new FPS animations, but most of the focus of animation rework will transit to the TPS animations now.
Normandy Campaign
Recently we released our Normandy Campaign, we worked extremly hard on it for more than 9 months and we are happy to see that it recived quite a lot of appreciation, so thank you a lot for everyone who decided to play it! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2317930/Easy_Red_2_Normandy/ [previewyoutube=6lBxH8Hq2PA;full][/previewyoutube]
Modding support
We created an SDK to easily create modding. We are performing tests with some volounteers and so far everything is going super well. Even users with very little modding knowledge appears to be able to create any kind of mod supported by the game. That's also thanks to some tutorials we are creating which completly guide players on how to follow the entire modding process. We expect to have an open testing version of the modding system within a couple weeks.
Extra informations
In case you didn't know we have defined a precise roadmap for the next months of development and you can read it here. We keep improving all features of the base game and as always we will be going on listening to suggestions from people inside the Steam Discussions and the Discord server. The updates for the base game we are constantly releasing are very expansive, so if you are interested on giving us a hand to make a better work, this is our Patreon.
