A question we often get asked is whether we support Steam Deck, and the answer to that is a resounding yes.
This post is just to give you a bit more of an idea of what to expect while we're waiting on Steam's official rating.
Controls & Navigation
Since we were going for full controller support for this game, it only makes sense we have support for Steam Deck as well. Controls aren't rebindable in-game, but there aren't many complicated controls needed in the game so we believe this is fine.
Performance
To give you a better idea of how performance will look, here are a variety of graphics settings combinations and configured TDP values, to give you a better idea of performance.
We have to main quality setting, overall game, and shadow quality. Both have 3 options, High, Medium, and Low.
High - High at 15W TDP struggles past 45fps
High - Low at 15w hits solid 60fps
Medium - Medium at 10W TDP hits a stable 60fps
Low - Low at 7W TDP hits stable 60fps
Low - Low at 5W TDP dips right under 30fps
Low - Low at 15W TDP is solid 110fps, most of the time 120fps
Our suggestion is to play the game at High quality, Low Shadows for the best visual experience whilst maintaining rock-solid performance. The shadow option limits the range at which shadows load in, which is only noticeable in large rooms of the game. Due to the Deck's smaller screen size, the reduced shadow resolution also isn't that noticeable.
