It was fun, but definitely bare-bones. [/p][p]Then came [i]DreamHack Dallas[/i] and [i]DreamHack Atlanta[/i] — and everything changed. Watching hundreds of people play gave me real-time feedback that shaped the game in huge ways. [/p][p][/p][h3]New Mechanics from Player Feedback [/h3][p]Players loved skill-based moments, so we added: [/p][list][*][p]Perfect Parry – Time it right, deflect the hit, and restore health. [/p][/*][*][p]Finishing Punch – A flashy knockout on weakened enemies that also heals you. [/p][/*][/list][p]Both reward timing, strategy, and a little risk-taking. [/p][p][/p][h3]New Enemies, New Challenges [/h3][p]No more endless crawler spam. The streets are now full of: [/p][list][*][p]Knucklehead Bruisers – Hand to hand heavy hitters. [/p][/*][*][p]Knucklehead Sluggers – Bat-swinging troublemakers. [/p][/*][*][p]Knucklehead Gunners – Projectile specialists who keep their distance.
