Rocket Cave Adventure Update 3

Rocket Cave Adventure

Rocket Cave Adventure is a physics-based roguelite where you control your craft through procedurally generated caves. How far can you make it? Better yet, how good are your flying skills?

Hey everyone, Another update rolls out to the BETA branch of the game! Soon the beta version will merge with the base version for a nicely sized feature update for those not using the beta. The major addition in this update is two new enemies and something to make sure you can't stay in levels for too long (along with some bug fixes)! Features:

Added enemy: Floating skull
Added enemy: UFO
The ceiling will now begin to fall after 90 seconds of being in the same level
Small changes:

Player skills UI now changes colors based on if you can use the skill or not. Green if you can use it, black if you cannot.
Player skills button mapping UI are now slightly larger so you can actually read them.
Fixed a misspelling in the post-tutorial popup
Increased the mastery cost of [Bombdrop Power] and [Bombdrop Capacity] from 15 gold -> 25 gold
Changed the shape of hinges (the objects holding up the exit platform) from squares to circles
Bugs fixed:

The player's dead body's mesh was not rendering properly
When the player exited the level, air vents' noise would get too loud
The helicopter propellers' noise would begin playing before the level finished loading
This is the biggest changelog yet- and we're just getting started! For anyone wondering about mentions of the helicopter- there is no proper way to start using this vehicle yet as it is still in testing. If you want to use it in your runs, press the 'H' key on your keyboard during play! Sorry, there will be a proper way to select your vehicle in the next update in a day or two! Stay tuned, Thomas boxedworks
