There's still quite a bit of content to work through!✨][/h3] [h2]Greetings Researchers![/h2] I'm currently working on the v0.9 update, which will be quite a big update! Here's what you can expect: [list] [*] [b]More NPC Heart Events[/b]! All non-romanceable Purple Heart Events have been added thus far. [*] A [b]new character[/b] will be moving into Shimmerbrook! [b]Layla [/b]will be helping around Mugs & Darts, and you'll see her either being a barmaid or shopkeeping on her work days~ [*] [b]New NPC Routines[/b] (i.e. NPCs doing more things!) You'll get to see some new character interactions as well. [*] [b]Cooking System[/b]! [*] Additional [b]side quests[/b] [*] [b]QOL changes[/b] based on player feedback [/list] [h2]Layla, NPC Character interactions πŸ’›[/h2] Here's an example of new NPC interactions! Talking to them will prompt a dialogue where they speak to each other. With the numerous interesting plants and produce that can be found in Shimmerbrook, I thought we could make a familiar system with unique recipes. Players will be able to obtain 5 different [b]Cooking Utensils[/b], which are required for various recipes. For example, you can cook Scrambled Eggs on a Pan, and make Mashed Potatoes with a Bowl & Whisk. (Cooking Utensils was one of my favourite things about Harvest Moon FOMT, and I really wanted to add this!) [i]Effects from food may still change during development![/i] The Food Cabinet (currently in-game), will be interactable and act as a chest. When making food, ingredients will be [b]automatically grabbed from the Food Cabinet[/b] first before the Player Inventory.
