Meownday Update #3
Cats vs. Aliens Meownday Update #3

Hello and welcome, Invaders!
Whew, it's been quite the two weeks! Did I forget to post this on Saturday? Yup. Did I intentionally wait until today to make a different cat pun? Also, yes. But let's talk about the playtest!
Wait... playtest?
That's right! I've been working all week to grab the attention of various folks across various platforms with various interests and backgrounds so I can get a good, wide-ranging amount of feedback. I need as much player input as possible going forward here, folks! It will mean the difference between a “meh” game and a “frick yeah!” game. So if you've seen an annoying amount of Cats vs Aliens on your favorite platform, then you probably are either on that platform too much, or you're one of my followers (if so, HI AND THANKS!), I'm a small time deal, and everything you're seeing about Cats vs Aliens so far is directly from yours truly. I'm doing my best to promote this thing, but if you're willing to help, please reach out on Discord! The more help I get, the less focus I have to put into letting people know the game exists (my biggest hurdle right now), and the more focus can go into making improvements and changes to make Cats vs Aliens the best it can be (which is the part I'm pretty decent at, and would much prefer to focus on).
How can you help?
Talk about Cats vs Aliens! Post about it, meme about it, stream it, link to it, show people the trailer. show people how broken your playtest experience was, make a silly piece of art of your favorite cat, make an alien scientist out of playdoh, 3D print a yarn ball, crochet Kitsy Katsy, Whatever skill you have, you can make something about Cats vs Aliens with it and I promise it will be so helpful and I'll share it with everyone that sits still for too long in my general vicinity. Anything and everything you say about it will help me get eyes on it, and more eyes means more potential players, means more input, means a more pawtastic game! I am busting tail over here trying to make this work and make it fun and make it finished, so I am insanely grateful for any help you're willing to give. Here are some easy ways you can make a difference for me and the game:

Post about it on social media
Recommend it to people looking for this kind of game
Wishlist it
Share the trailer around
Recommend it to your favorite streamers
Stream it yourself
Leave some feedback or comments in the Steam forums
Tell your irl friends about it
Post some screenshots
Make a guide for new players
Write an article about it for your blog
Tell gaming news sites that you want them to cover it
Leave comments about it around the internet
Take a video of your most obnoxiously loud friend playing it and share it
Ok, well, some of those are clearly easier than others, but you get the idea.
How did the playtest go?
It went very well! I had some feedback from folks on Reddit as well as in the Steam forums, and a Twitch stream, Netruitus, even gave it a play live where I could watch. It was a lot of fun getting to see my work in someone else’s paws. So now, I get to go work on all those bugs that were uncovered and polish all of the things that need it. Then, it’s Demo Time! See you there!
Happy Invading!!
