Kaetram v2.2.0 comes in just three days before our anniversary. We've been working tirelessly for this past month to crank our some much-needed content. We have finally added translations for Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Tagalog, and Norwegian. The translations cover the interface, quest dialogs, and server messages. Additional languages will be added in future updates. The Stonk Exchange is by far our biggest feature so far. It allows cross-world trading between players. Simply place a sale or purchase order and go about your day. Though the system is functioning as expected, further tweaks will be made in the future, including the ability to see what items/and amounts are currently on the exchange. Finally, this update brings magic spells, which will slowly phase out the old magic system. That is not all however, the full change-log for this update is as follows: - Added translations. - Added tree swaying. - Added auto-retaliate. - Added two new hotbar slots. - Added Kaetram Stonk Exchange. - Added negative experience lamps. - Added a weight system for items carried. - Added special event items and lootboxes. - Added ability to transfer guild ownership. - Added random mob safezones in banks and in Mudwich town. - Added magic spell book, spell scrolls, and new recipes. - Added drag and drop to the chatbox and hover information. - Added helmet cosmetic and converted all existing helmets as such. - Reworked chatbox. - Reworked mining exp rates. - Reworked many assets and sprites. - Reworked Forest Dragon drop rates. - Reworked many combat-related logistics. - Reworked hover information for mobs/bosses. - Reworked drop tables for boss drops and added souls drop tables. - Reworked the way ground hazards damage player (once per tick - 1 second). - Reworked the buffs/debuffs/protections divinities offer. - Reworked how the deposit all function works, should be less laggy. - Fixed some PvP deadzones. - Fixed "walk here" picking up items. - Fixed non-bosses appearing as daily tasks. - Fixed hot sauce effect icon not displaying. - Fixes targeting issues around Patsow cliffs. - Fixed cosmetics not displaying/hiding correctly. - Fixed mana steal not working on the swash buckler. - Fixed "player has logged out" without player logging in. - Fixed some boss drops being above their maximum stack size. - Fixed player following target when they enter through doors. - Fixes potions timer becoming haywire when using different potions. - Fixes friend list disappearing under certain window resize conditions. - Fixes crafting non-stackables making items vanish when not enough space. - Fixes (this time properly) the notification hiding as soon as it displays. - Fixes character's avatar not displaying correctly when changing appearance. - Fixed targeting priority when clicking on an entity with loot/items beneath it. - Fixes minor issues around the map such as inaccessible tiles and protruding tiles. - Fixes being able to unequip fishing/lumberjacking/mining equipment and persist mining. - Light intensity has been dropped to prevent flashbangs in group scenarios. - All combat-related quest rewards now grant an EXP lamp instead. - Haven't managed to ban Steph yet but will try again next update. - Lootbags and items randomize spawns if an item already exists at the location. - Changed it so only friends can see whether you're online or not. - Tons of additional backend and game-engine optimizations as per usual.
