Hello there! At first, we wanted to release Iris And The Giant on Steam in October or November 2019. We decided to change the development rhythm and temporarly hire Antonin from Subtle Games (who made Seeds of Resilience). He will port the whole game to Unity. It works, but porting games into consolescan be hard. Louis is not a coder by heart (although he's good at it) and didn't feel he would do the whole Unity port by himself. We (Goblinz) wanted to take this off his shoulders. Here's a list of things this Adobe air > Unity port will allow: [list] [*] Better data and level management [*] Better framerate & optimization [*] Potentially more visual effects and polish through Unity's capabilities [*] Future potential ports to Switch & other consoles [*] Faster bug-fixing, content updates & build push after release [*] It's a tool we already use for all other productions so we know our way around it.
