Hello everyone!
A month of solid progress as I get closer to releasing an updated demo. I will plan on it being a demo instead of an open alpha that you have to request access to moving forward. Main reason being to reduce the overhead people have to go through, even if the access was instantly granted. I'll also try to get a trailer along with updated graphics on the Steam page as the game has already changed a LOT.
Some cool stuff this month:
New chapter 2 map and gameplay!

Also a new turn system! It will now be "squad based" rather than initiative. As you can see here, units are "greyed out" because they finished their turn.I will be adding questions to a new survey about the turn system to gauge everyone's reactions and help me understand what players want to see more of moving forward.

[*]Reach ability changed on lances as it was a bit strong. Now gives +20% accuracy when initiating combat.
[*]Unit's now blink when they are selected.
[*]Healer class created. They have a Mend ability that heals allies a third of their health.
[*]Created abilities for the two new characters introduced in chapter 2, Phoebe (gentle heart - heal self while healing allies) and Abigail (Forager - heal self when starting turn on a forest/brush tile, and gain extra avoid on them as well).

[*]Standardize enemy appearance when sharing the same class.
[*]Create "base" operations between chapters. Will first be seen at the start of chapter 3. A place where you can read (optional) world building dialogue between characters, equip them with new items, and forge stronger weapons. Really excited for this!
