A video showcase of two new game elements

Ghost of Fall

Deeply atmospheric and personal journey of a strange, strange man - with handcrafted music, visuals, dialogue, and challenges. All in the form of a 2D adventure game with plesant puzzles and rhythm-based fights.

Hello @everyone 🦌 We bring a mini-update on a new gameplay element we're working on.. Ward now had a journal that he updates accordingly to what's going on in the game! You will be able to access the journal at any time - this will allow you to gain additional insight to the thoughts of Ward, as well as recount on past events and maybe even find extra clues! πŸ’Ž (Also Ward's sketches! Just for extra flavor πŸ™‚ ) [previewyoutube=gxde7GHWgfU;full][/previewyoutube] This video shows a WIP so obviously some things are yet to be refined, nevertheless we wanted to show you this little sneak peek of something we thought was cool πŸ™‚ also... Ward has a tendency to sometimes take objects he finds with him. Those objects then end up in his [b]Inventory[/b]. As was the case with the journal - you can access this inventory at all times - sometimes those objects will be necessary to progress and sometimes they just add extra flavour to the world around you. In this video you can also see a new, more readable font we've been working on for quite some time. [previewyoutube=yrXXFAzTvBY;full][/previewyoutube] ---------- There are many other things being made in parallel. Mostly we've been focusing on drawing and implementing new character and interface animations. This already caused the quality of how the game looks to improve massively (especially compared to the demo). soon we're going to have the backgrounds to a large chunk of the game done, then the enviroment animation, and then putting all of that good stuff together to get a near definite look of the game! We can't wait to show it all off as well as see it ourselves πŸ™‚ As usual, thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy this little early look. You can look forward to more information, footage and screenshots soon, but for now, this concludes the mini-update. Have a great evening!
