Some pesky bugs have shown up and we felt it was time to step back in a squash them. We've also made a couple of big changes to the game which we hope you will like. One of the changes is that Stars are now persistent across all Campaign levels. This means you only need to unlock your favourite research just once to get it throughout the campaign. The same also applies to unlocking higher-tier Arcade types. Any Stars built up will show up on any campaign level for your profile. We've also created a system that will backdate the Stars, Research and Arcade Types earned through an existing campaign. This is done through an analyzing screen that shows up the first time you load the game or change to an old profile for the first time. Another exciting change is to how you build carpets, gone are the days of manually placing each floor tile. You can drag select up to a 12x12 region to place down your majestic flooring. As usual, you can find all the fixes and new additions down below. -------------------------------------------- ~ Added arrow indicators to the Arcade Rating Panel that now show when values increase or decrease. ~ Added persistent Stars to the campaign mode. Research, unlocked machines and Stars will now carry over for each level. On first first-time loads, your saves will be analysed to determine stars earned over past arcades. ~ Added text and slightly adjusted the layout of the repair buttons in the Machine Panel to help with communication. ~ Added the ability to place down flooring by drag selecting an area. ~ Adjusted the amount of XP entertainers gains to no longer be dependent on the number of customers affected. ~ Adjusted the contract "Stay in shallow debt" criteria to now consider all debt as progress. ~ Adjusted the descriptions of some Contracts to better communicate their required trigger parameters. ~ Contracts will now display a failure message instead of just disappearing. ~ Decor appeal values will now appear when placing Decorations. ~ Decorating walls and floors now provides more visual feedback. ~ Fixed a bug that allowed an already ongoing contract to appear again in the available list. ~ Fixed a bug that allowed infinite money in any of the campaign levels. ~ Fixed a bug that allowed Pictures to be purchased for no cost. ~ Fixed a bug that caused customers to incorrectly display the wrong though when looking for a missing token machine. ~ Fixed a bug that caused Entertainer balloons to stack unintentionally. ~ Fixed a bug that caused Entertainers to always drop balloons with the Cheer-Spread perk. ~ Fixed a bug that caused Entertainers to not be removed from the hire list when hired. ~ Fixed a bug that caused Staff Wages to calculate incorrectly when promoting. ~ Fixed a bug that caused the "Decorate Walls & Floor" Objective to not complete if the shift key was used when decorating. ~ Fixed a bug that caused the appeal rating to not update when buying a new plot of land in Sandbox mode. ~ Fixed a bug that caused the Arcade Rating screen to show Drinks by default. ~ Fixed a bug that caused the Checklist to show even after turning it off in the options. ~ Fixed a bug that caused the Entertainer to not disable certain perks in certain situations. ~ Fixed a bug that caused Utilities to charge a Star cost when upgrading. ~ Fixed a bug with contracts that caused the progress of contracts already completed to not be reset, resulting in automatic completion when selected again. ~ Fixed a bug with the Organised Robbery event in Sandbox that caused it to sometimes not trigger. ~ Fixed a bug with the Staff Notification that caused them to display as duplicates rather than Staff specific ones. ~ Fixed a visual bug that occurred when attempting to place down a machine which you can't afford. ~ Fixed a visual bug with Food and Drink windows incorrectly displaying their respective Values. ~ Fixed a visual bug with the Staff Room which incorrectly stated the number and type of staff present. ~ Increased the reward for the Contract "Level up a member of staff to 20". ~ Lowered the frequency at which Low Power Notifications appear. ~ Raging customers will now break fewer machines before leaving. ~ Selecting an arcade to build will now cause it to show up immediately. ~ Text will now appear when building machines stating the new and cost. ~ Unique machines now have a repair cost. -------------------------------------------- Thanks for reading and supporting Arcade Tycoon. ~The Devs
