[h3]Hotfix 0.8675[/h3] Hello Survivors! This hotfix should clear up a few of the recent reports, including a new time system, as well as a massive performance boost all around. The new systems and modifications will help optimization and long-term playthrough performance, and they shouldn't affect your save files at all. I have removed the save on exit system, and added a new confirmation menu on exiting/dropping out of the game. Most placeable objects will now activate build mode when used, allowing the player to position the item manually, and some storyline and tutorial dialogue has been modified. The AI update and input mapping should be coming soon! I always appreciate your feedback and bug reports, so please let me know if you find any new issues, along with any info I can use to recreate the issue on my end. Still no luck trying to get the elusive movement bug to happen for me, so if you have any additional information about it, please let me know! I can't use every suggestion but I appreciate the feedback all the same! This update should crush most of the reported bugs, along with some new changes to existing features. If you experience any bugs with the game, try to provide as much information as possible to recreate the issue, and it should be dealt with quickly. Here are a few of the requested features that have been added. You can hide the HUD by pressing F8 key (floating text can also be disabled in the options menu,) Switched the "take All" key to the E button to match gamepad controls (hopefully it doesn't mess up anyone that is used to the F key,) Added a temporary failsafe that will prevent the time stop bug until I can get a new time system in the game, and pylons will no longer flip vehicles on collision. Backing up your save files can be a good practice for now, until I figure out a backup save system. Check out the full list of changes below! I've had to push back the key binding menu update for now, it works fairly well but the changes in the gameplay code will take some time. Other fixes and additions like the Enemy/NPC AI definitely needs some attention, as well as an expansion on the fishing system, a new time code system, ironman mode and a new challenge class for char creation, New game+, UI improvements, character models, and more are planned for future updates. Update V0.867 -You can hide the HUD for screenshots by pressing F8.
