New this week: New upgrade system, bug fixes, QOL changes. This is a BETA update. Please use the Beta branch in BrVR's steam library page -> gear icon -> properties -> betas. [b]Overhauled the entire upgrades system[/b] The upgrade bench now has a completely different UI. Putting an item on the bench will initiate the UI to change, showing what item you have and the available upgrades. Items can have up to three available upgrades. You can then click on an upgrade to apply the upgrade to the item on the table, if you have the required item listed also on the table (if the required item is steel, it'll pull from your crafting inventory). This also makes it easier on the backend to add upgrade recipes, so expect more soon. [b]Added more upgrade recipes to the .357 Revolver, AA12, PPSH, Balloon Gun, Thompson, Deagle, and Mac-11[/b] All of the old recipes have remained, but some new ones have been added as well. First off, the .357 revolver can now be upgraded into the silenced variant sound in level -2. The AA12 can be upgraded into a longer barreled version or a version with a two-shot burst fire and reduced recoil, the PPSH can be upgraded to have extended magazines, the Balloon gun can be upgraded to be full auto, the thompson can be (down?)graded into the thock (more on that later), the deagle can be upgraded into a carbine, and the mac-11 can be upgraded into the mac-10. [b]Added the Thock[/b] You might have seen the Grompson vs Thock meme, and it's exactly what it sounds like, an upgrade from the Thompson that has the stock, sights, and most of the barrel removed. [b]Added back extended magazines[/b] The 1911, PPSH, and Mac-11 all now have an extended magazines upgrade option that gives them 15, 71, and 50 round mags respectively. This is similar to the old days where there was an extended magazines option in the settings menu.
