In this rogue-lite adventure, you free the Academy of Greifenstein from magical creatures by using your spells creatively. Explore this modern magical world alone or in local co-op mode with friends and family, customize your character, solve mysteries, and find powerful artifacts.
[b]With this update, we are working on improving the local co-op experience while fixing various bugs and issues. This is a public beta update with work-in-progress changes that are not yet available in the main version of the game.[/b]
You can get access the public beta branch containing all of these mentioned changes as follows:

Navigate to the “Betas” panel, open the “Beta Participation” dropdown, then choose the “public_beta” option. The game should now automatically update and download the public beta version.
Should you encounter any issues with these new features, we would be very grateful for your issue report. Press F1 at any time while in-game to open the issue report overlay. Don’t forget to attach the automatically created data package to your bug report, as it is essential for us to reproduce the issue you may have encountered!

[*]This system allows you to view any connected input devices and assign them to different players in local co-op.
[*]Enabling local co-op no longer requires any specific input devices to be connected. You will still require at least two different connected input devices to properly control both players.
[*]The Device Assignment UI will pause the game and open automatically when local co-op is enabled or whenever an input device is connected or disconnected.
[*]You can access the Device Assignment UI via the pause menu, or open it at any time by pressing F2.
[*]If you are using Steam Remote Play Together, Player 2 can use their mouse & keyboard only if you enable it in the Remote Play Settings in the Steam Overlay.

[*]Added information about the save that will be loaded when pressing play in the main menu.

[*]In local co-op, opening the smartphone or a shop allows both players to navigate and interact with the UI.
[list][*]We are looking to implement a solution that will allow only the player who opened it to navigate and interact with such UI screens.[/list]
[*]In local co-op, your co-op partner’s companion can affect and deal damage to you with its contact effects instead of you being immune to those as intended.
[*]Secret puzzle rewards in the second and third floor are not distributed correctly. Solving a puzzle in these floors will currently only ever reward a lucky bag instead of randomly picking from a pool of different containers as intended.
