Hello! This patch has a lot of small but important fixes. But first, we want to mention our voice actors who made The Inn-Sanity possible.
During development, we used sounds recorded by the wonderful actress Jenny Glynn for our previous project, Crimson Snow. Unfortunately, we did not credit her – it’s a big mistake on our part, which we will fix in this patch. Thanks to her, many scenes with the Ghost and the White Lady became much more tense. Thank you!
We also want to thank the voice who breathed life into our main partner in the hotel, Robin. She is voiced by the talented actress Lindsey "Asesina" Harbaugh. She added charm to our game and made our stay at the hotel less lonely!
And now on to the patch!
List of changes:
• Corrections to the Chinese translation. We fixed a number of mistakes and places where translation was missing.
• Day 1. Our room. Added a small hint on the table.
• Day 2. We removed double subtitles from the dream scene.
• Day 3. Roof. Added improvements to the surrounding view.
• Day 3. The hallucination when we walk along the corridor has been changed. The paintings are animated, background accompaniment has been added, sounds from the paintings and the post-process has been changed.
• Day 3. The appearance of the neighbor's room has been changed: books, suitcases, papers, pens, trash have been added. The photo in the neighbor's room was changed. We also changed its location.
• Day 3. Now after the time given by the priest is out, the conversation begins.
• Day 7. Lobby and pool. A number of background sounds were changed, improving the environment. We also fixed several sound artifacts and added additional sounds.
• Day 7. The movements of the giant monster now shake the floor.
• Day 7. When we finish the conversation with Robin after the chase, she began to walk and talk almost without pauses. We added pauses and changed the order of a couple of phrases.
• Day 8. Robin is now calling us on the roof, so it's easier to find her.
• Day 9. We changed the sounds outside the window to match the new environment.
• Several sounds throughout the game were replaced to better match the timing of cutscenes and the environment.
• The particles of drops are now displayed correctly and have sound.
• The particles of short circuit sparks have been reworked. We also added sound to them.
• We added sounds for Robin's footsteps.
• We added the ability to view Credits from the main menu of the game. It’s a small feather at the right corner of the screen.
• We made many other edits to fix collision, decals, change the position of some objects and other things.
