Hello everyone! The Demo of Chaos Front is in the final two months of development. In this dev log, let me talk about the lore of the Committee Army. The picture below is a map of the Centersea War, which has been deadlocked in AC 25. The red planets are controlled by the Massilian Revolutionary Army, the black planets are controlled by the Black Flag, the purple planets are controlled by the Fleet Primus of Committee Army, the blue planets are controlled by the Fleet Secundus of Committee Army, and the green planet is the neutral city planet Kowloon. Each planetary government and enterprise must pay a huge shipping management fee regularly to obtain authorization to send ships for inter-system navigation. Unauthorized spaceships, including the vessel and cargo, will be confiscated by the Committee's gendarmerie and will be directly shot down if they resist. Through this means, in just 25 years, the Astronautical Committee has accumulated huge wealth, and the three Superpowers have also obtained huge economic benefits through privileges. Faced with the revolution launched by Massilia, the Astronautical Committee decided that the three Superpowers would send fleets, allocate military funds from the Committee's treasury, and form a joint army to conquer Massilia. However, the Fleet Tertius from the Qilin Dynasty suddenly announced its separation from the Committee Army in Bazhou and became independent from the Qilin Dynasty, called itself the Black Flag, and formed an alliance with the Massilian Revolutionary Army. Therefore, the Committee Army in the Centersea War only included the Fleet Primus from the Republic of Legions and the Fleet Secundus from the Shining Federation. The Commander-in-Chief of the Fleet Primus was Marshal Crassus, one of the Five Marshals of the Republic of Legions. He was one of the most powerful warlords in RoL. Once he could lead the army to quell the Massilian Revolution, he would have a great chance of seizing the throne of the Imperator of RoL. But unexpectedly, under the resistance of the Revolutionary Army and the Black Flag, the Centersea War fell into a stalemate. Crassus was full of anger at the traitors and struggled hard in the political quagmire. The Commander-in-Chief of the Fleet Secundus was General Dwight of the Shining Federation. Rather than saying that he was a military strategist who was good at leading troops in battle, it was better to say that he was a politician who was good at coordination and personnel management. Within the SF, there was also a political trend against sacrificing soldiers for the Committee and demanding that the Shining Federation's own interests take precedence. Therefore, in the Centersea War, the Fleet Secundus was not as active as the Fleet Primus. In Chaos Front, our mercenary corps can not only participate in the battle to assist the Committee Army but also learn about the people and secrets within these organizations through various missions and get involved in related major events. That's all for this devlog. Let's talk more next month! Han Zhiyu
