As you know, Pyrene is deeply inspired by the myths from the Basque Country and the Pyrenees. We thought you might be interested in a little spotlight on some of them and tell you about their background! [h2]1. Jentil/Jentilak[/h2] [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44387931/15d5093fce21f233c005d0404f312474fef133cb.png[/img] Living in the mountains, these furry giants lived before the Christian era. The legends say they represented the Basque people. They were known to throw rocks at their enemies, but they’re above all protectors of the mountains! They protect their forest, are more isolated. They are basically humans who were living a primitive lifestyle. They didn’t live in the same era as the Jentilak but are similar physically and in their role in the legends. In Pyrene, we have decided to represent them more creature-ish, like corrupted Jentilak. Millaris is an old shepherd known to have provided the snow all across the Pyrenees! As it snowed for the first time, he knew he had the duty to spread it across the mountains. A duty he passed on to his sons, and it has snowed every year in this mountain range ever since. You’ll meet Millaris as a merchant in Pyrene! It was said that you could summon these winged insects with a needle box, and they’d do anything to lighten your daily life. Thanks to Mamarro, you can duplicate your relics in Pyrene!
