Taking in feedback from the first game, the fox character has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, with an updated look and a newly designed movement. For Spirit of the North 2, we're going much bigger with the game world and sending players off to discover a variety of different regions, each with its own flavor featuring unique weather patterns. Additionally, the move to Unreal Engine 5 has given us a range of tools to enhance the handcrafted world, bringing more detailed lighting and effects. This has been a major focus and our composer has truly elevated the experience of exploring the various landscapes.
