Dead Oculus

Dead Oculus is a lethal, fast-paced bullet-hell that fuses arcade and roguelike elements. Brutalise your foes in gauntlets of handcrafted arenas by wielding deadly weapons with cataclysmic augments.

[h3]Changes[/h3] - Lowered Machine Gun reload volume - Reduced boss health scaling: +25%pt. increase -> +20%pt. increase per danger level - Gun and Ability gallery now stay on the right side of the hub (to make room for unlocks that come after the demo) - Added new icons for left-hand-side unlocks on the Victory screen - The difficulty description now contains much more information - GX.games only: Added challenges - Added Nazars, medals for extraordinarily fast times in areas - Updated the save folder name and added Steam Cloud support (unfortunately, due to the folder name change you will have a fresh save when you play the updated version of the demo) [h3]Bug Fixes[/h3] - Fixed a bug where the Executioner boon would cause knives to phase through snake boss segments after a segment had taken damage from bullets - Fixed an issue where the game would crash if snake crystal projectiles were on the screen when it completed its death animation - Fixed a bug where particles would not be cleared before heading into the loot/victory/loss screen - Fixed a bug where some sprites could be seen past the room boundaries if they were drawn far enough out (this also fixes the thin layer of purple that could be seen on The Bunkus) - Fixed a bug where dodging would use an imprecise collision mask - Fixed a bug where pressing escape and the "play" button in the main menu simultaneously would deactivate all entities in the game [h3]Notes on the Save Folder Change[/h3] - If you would like to continue your demo save from before this update, open %localappdata% and copy the files from "\DeadOculus2"* into "\Dead_Oculus",* overwriting any duplicate .txt files * This is not a typo, the folder with the '2' in its name is the old folder
