Dead Oculus

Dead Oculus is a lethal, fast-paced bullet-hell that fuses arcade and roguelike elements. Brutalise your foes in gauntlets of handcrafted arenas by wielding deadly weapons with cataclysmic augments.

I've been working on finalizing the boons in the game. This update brings a small selection of the new boons to the demo, along with some improvements to the current ones. [h3]Item Changes[/h3] - Secret Passages: Added to the demo (allows you to dodge through walls) - Insanity Shuffle: Added to the demo (gives you a speed boost after you dodge) - Adrenaline: Added to the demo (shoot faster based on your missing health) - Thorns: Added to the demo (create bullets around you when damaged) - Ankh Rune: Added to the demo (become invincible for 1 second every 3 seconds) - Murder Slits: Added to the demo (create bullets when walking near walls) - Pillbox: Added to the demo (create bullets while standing on a zone) - Rift Daggers: Added to the demo (create daggers in random locations when you shoot) - Finger of Death: Added to the demo (any enemy you touch while dodging explode) - Demon Bullets: Added to the demo (any bullets created while you are on a zone become explosive) - Magnetic Daggers: Added to the demo (when you dodge, execute all knived enemies below 4 tiers of health) - The Weasel (Gun): Added to the demo (6-shot revolver, innately has the bullet bounce boon) - Changed the unlock ordering (so some of the above items will only be useable with certain eyeball counts in the demo) - Wound particles are now gold when you have the Nuclear Halo boon equipped - Updated Event Horizon visuals - Takyon: Removed from the demo - McCreep: Removed from the demo - Knife Mail: Removed from the demo - Donkalor Mavis: Removed from the demo - Event Horizon: Removed from the demo - Knife God: Removed from the demo - Glass Cannon: Removed from the demo [h3]Balance[/h3] - Tenacious: no longer grants invincibility after dodging - Tenacious: no longer procs when a shield is broken - Tenacious: now lasts for 4 seconds flat - Increased moving dodge range by 1/2 a tile [h3]Bug Fixes[/h3] - Overkilling an enemy with 2 or more knives on the same frame no longer eats up the additional knives - Fixed an issue where zone spawns would delay the next enemy wave from spawning
