Content Update #3

Hey everyone! It's been a few weeks since the last patch but rest assured this one is loaded up with new goodies! Today's patch includes a rework of most bosses, as well as opening up the hardcore feature! [h3]NEW:[/h3] - [b]Hardcore bosses have been unlocked[/b]! You can find the hardcore crystal in the each main city after you've defeated the slime king Hitting the crystal will force all (available) bosses to enter hardcore mode, hitting it again will return to normal mode Defeating these bosses have unique achievements and a chance at hardcore pet rewards! Defeating these bosses will reward you with unique "essence shards", which will be used in advanced smithing recipes Fights will be added to the hardcore pool over the next few weeks until all bosses have had hardcore versions added Entering a bossfight which doesn't have a hardcore version available will start the encounter as normal - Slime King has been added to the hardcore fights - Keeper of the Depths has been added to the hardcore fights - The Three Matriarchs have been added to the hardcore fights - The Frog Resistence has been added to the hardcore fights - Boss pets added for: Slime King Hardcore Keeper Of The Depths Hardcore The Three Matriarchs Hardcore The Frog Resistence Hardcore - [b]The Steam page and trailer have had a full rework![/b] - The indicator for changing combat style have been reworked into small icons to reduce text overlap - Any shoutout that the player does will no longer overlap with previous shoutouts With the exception of shoutouts during boss fights that contain important information, these will remain layered on top - 9 New achievements have been added (Each will be unlockable once the respective hardcore fight is available) - Confirmation windows have been added for when you want to return to the titlescreen or quit the game [h3]CHANGES:[/h3] - All the slime areas have had a visual touch-up to make them look less out of place compared to the newer content - All the elemental areas have had a visual touch-up - Beatrice now won't spawn mid-combat just before the second boss and will wait patiently for the wave to finish - The Juggernaut has had his attacks reworked into %-based attacks and has been slightly tweaked for increased difficulty - The Nature Golem has had his attacks reworked into %-based attacks - Fire flash has been reworked to consume 40 mana on each connecting comet, if the player runs out of mana the ability despawns - When not playing fullscreen your camera will now be zoomed out when entered the keeper of the depths fight - The plaguebearer boss has had a rework and has become more challenging - The BGM playing at the plaguebearer has changed - Both the plaguebearer and blackveil have had their attack moves be changed to %-based attacks This is an effort to make bossfights more of a consistent challenge throughout the game regardless of their stats This will force dealing with the mechanics and will be rolled out for more bosses soon Every special move will have this scaler applied, with exception to regular boss melee hits and the adds that they spawn - The blackveil has had additional mechanics introduced to the fight to make him more difficult - The blackveil BGM has been changed - The player now block the miasma projectiles without the assistance of Edmund if he uses "Edmund's Resolve" - A lantern was in the way for leaving the area easily inside of Edmund's village, it has been removed by angry villagers - Alt+tab will now toggle between borderless fullscreen and windowed 540p as expected - The Arena "quick exit" will now despawn when arena is completed to prevent players getting confused on using it to leave [h3]FIXED:[/h3] - A strange issue with dashing has been resolved where sometimes the player would still dash towards the cursor or to the right when he was moving
