Beta v11
Features: - Mars. In early testing! Please give some feedback and let me know if you have any country or city ideas. - Quarter goals now have "Meets Expectations" and "Exceeds Expectations" categories. Reaching "Exceeds Expectations" will give you extra bonuses. - Redesigned Network Overview now with 3 tabs for Airplanes, Airports and Routes. - New route option: "Max Wait Time". You can now configure the maximum duration a plane will wait at an airport before taking off. - New route option: "Next Stop Passenger Count Threshold". You can now configure a threshold of people waiting at this plane's next stop that, if reached, will cause the plane to take off. Changes: - Airports will now spawn slightly more frequently. - Now only need to unlock 3 cities for the first quarter, with 5 for exceeds expectations. - "How about some planes?" option for the Quarter Goal Accomplished Event is now exclusive to "Exceeds Expectations". - Reduced quarter goal bonuses for "Meets Expectations". - Re-added the taglines to the main menu. - Plane range now appears when hovering over the route arrow, rather than the route item. Bugfixes: - Fixed a bug where if you clicked on a city while in the Airplane overview menu, the "ghost" plane will remain visible. - Fixed a bug where if you tried to change the route of a plane that was under construction, it would appear as if the route had never changed. - Fixed out-of-date Puffin Token text. - Fixed bug where route statistics did not save/load properly. - Disabled warning in TextMeshPro that led to characters not supported by my font polluting the logs with error messages. - Fixed bug where notifications would not work properly on the client. - Massive code changes behind the scenes to support multiple planets and more dynamic airports. I'm not kidding when I say that these code changes are where the majority of this update's time was spent.
What's Next
In the Discord, I asked and the answer was loud and clear--y'all want some late game performance improvements, and additional content polishing. So those two things will be my focus for the month of July! Stay tuned.
