Beta v12 Features: - [b]Significantly reduced bandwidth usage in multiplayer. Up to 90% reduction[/b] while paused, 75% reduction at Speed 1 and 50% reduction at Speed 2. - [b]Significant late-game performance improvements. In my testing, tick times were decreased by over 70%[/b]. This does not correlate directly with FPS, but combined with the bandwidth improvements it should mean that you can play at least twice as long as before without running into performance issues. - [b]Significant performance improvements to the Network Overview[/b]--should no longer lag even in late-game. - Significant performance improvements to the Airport GUI (gate view and expansion view). - [b]Can now use the 'ESC' key to close most menus.[/b] - New setting for choosing between 'Windowed', 'Fullscreen Window (Borderless)' and 'Exclusive Fullscreen' Changes: - Now that there have been significant performance improvements,[b] I have increased the speed of the game.[/b] In Speed 1 ticks now occur every 500ms (down from 600ms) and in Speed 2 they occur every 250ms (down from 300ms). Bugfixes: - Fixed spacebar causing some UI elements to change. - Fixed the lag between clicking to unlock an airport, and the airport actually unlocking. Should help in multiplayer late-game. This also fixes a weird bug where sometimes trying to drag right after you unlock an airport will result in the world moving. - Fixed bug where the amount of miles you were awarded would overflow and become negative in late-late game. - Fixed bug where Planes view in the airport window would never scroll. - Policies and Upgrades overlay GUI now properly moves to the front of the GUI when you open it, rather than having other windows such as the Airport GUI appear over it.
