Trained at Terminas's finest combat school, top of his class and destined to become an an exceptional fighter, the teachers used to say that, despite the generally short life of Trailblazers, Archimedias would build a legend that would outlive him. They forgot one fundamental thing: nothing ever truly prepares you for the March and its merciless battles. On a frigid December Monday, amid a weeks-long, blinding snowstorm, the crowd gathered to witness Archimedias's departure saw only swirling ice and wind. The Caracole, the landship led by Archimedias, had an easy start to its mission. First day, no enemy in sight. Second day, no enemy in sight. And so on. On the 3rd Monday, a violent noise tore Archimedias from his sleep. A heavy impact. The landship shook laterally. A moment. Then a second noise. The smell of smoke. The screams. Or rather, the howls. A battle with no visibility ensued against an enemy landship. Fighting in such weather conditions is a blind man's game, where sound is your only guide. The horror lasted 4 days. Four days of syncopated, choppy, sad, illogical combat. Chaos incarnate, where the impression remains that you are always fighting against a recent past and wrong decisions.
