After a long time testing and working on enemies, I think the source of the bug is finally found. A new demo with the bug fix will be available "soon." But not so soon, because there's going to be a couple of more things. Moni's spell attack is going to change. Well, all of them will change, but only one is relevant for the demo. You can see the new way it works in this video. Now it has some nice slow-mo (with slow-mo jiggle) and blends into the game better, since you see her do the attack. The game is taking shape slowly but it's getting there.
