Hello.
There is an updated demo that you can test out. This demo makes various changes and improves different gameplay related things.
The most obvious change is Moni's new hair. After doing the preview of the new Dolls (Pame and Vero), I realized their hair looked way better than Moni's and Cami's. I decided to go back to those two and improve the hair quality for them too. This is a small change and is purely eye-candy, but I think it's worth it because a lot of work has been put into making the girls attractive, and this improves their overall quality. You can see Moni's new hair below.

While Cami is not playable in the demo, she shows up as one of the captured Dolls (context: Dolls become playable as you rescue them in the game). You can see Cami's new look below:

On a side-note, it's going to be cool to see Cami next to her twin sister, because, not only they will have different make-up styles, they will have different hair styles.
The HUD has been updated to reflect Moni's change. The HUD also includes pics for Cami and Ceci, but they are not visible since they are not available in the demo.

Keys and locked doors can be associated now, because they now have medallions, rather than using a generic model.

Moni's moves are also updated. She now moves a little bit forward on every slash of her combo, and has two differend "end-attacks" for the combo, a strong slash that causes knock-back, and an uppercut slash that sends her, and the enemy, upwards. She also can perform the air combo, and link the air combo to a stomp attack.
The stomp is also faster. She is launched down to do the stomp a lot faster than before.
Overall, these changes can open a couple of nice combat tricks. Other Dolls will have a similar style, at least the ones that use a melee weapon. Cami will be different, as she uses the orb, and her combat style is very different to Moni's or any other Doll using a melee weapon.

Enemies have also had small AI updates. Health potions and mana potions now heal more points than before.
Another small update is the "pain states". The demo includes one pain state: the "chest pain state".
You can see two of the pain states in the video below.
[previewyoutube=4_qf_S7vxr8;full][/previewyoutube]
The first one is a "chest pain" state that usually happens with a boss strong attack, when a Doll is slammed against a wall. This one doesn't really cripple her too much, as she can still jump, but the dash is limited. The second one is a "lower-belly pain" state that happens when the Doll is targeted on her lower-belly area, and this type of attack disrupts her magical link to the weapon, so she can't perform magic attacks, and she can't jump, but still has a limited dash. There's a third pain state, which doesn't show up here, and acts like the lower-belly pain state, and I'll leave it to you to guess what it is.
Time for some quick lore. I don't know if this has been explained here before or only on X and Patreon, but, in any case, I am explaining again. The weapons used by the Dolls are called "Nishumas" and are made with some "magical obsidian." Only women can use the magical properties of the weapons, because the weapons detect a woman's life-giving power (fancy way of saying "ability to give birth"), and then link to that power. A Nishuma will never react when grabbed by a man, and will never unleash magical attacks when used by a man (it can still be used as a blunt weapon, though). That's the in-game lore explanation for having only female warriors. The actual reason is that we wanted a game with pretty girls fighting monsters, and we came up with some "explanation" for that.
So we came up with this idea of attacks that target a Doll's lower abdomen and pelvic area as a way to disrupt their "magical link" to their weapons. The first idea was that "magic drain attack" seen in the trailer (the purple demon sucking energy out of Cami's lower abdomen) and then evolved from there to make more physical attacks. This includes the magical spells and also the "cool finishers".
And lastly, there's some minor changes in the demo level, mostly related to areas where you have to fight enemies in tiny platforms. Enemies in those tiny platforms were removed.
