A medieval city under siege and a handful of civilians are all that keep the walls from falling. Mixing survival strategy and resource management, build your camp, craft supplies, and scavenge the occupied city to supply the last troops holding back the invaders.
Short Work In Progress Summary
The months between releasing the Prologue and today were very busy for us since we received tons of feedback worth addressing and continued our work on extending and upgrading existing systems. Among many things done, we reworked scavenge guards, to make the mechanics related to them more player-friendly. We remade the tutorial system to make them more informative and clear. Finished the work on the map system to make it better visually and more useful in-game. We created a set of tools that will help you plan your gameplay and get knowledge about the possible ways to survive, like showing lists of available buildings and recipes related to them. And we also introduced a time management system to give players the possibility to slow down or speed up the time in the castle.
Updated Prologue
On that occasion, we are giving you the updated Prologue version with all the improved features and changes to allow you to check them by yourselves. Since the core game code of the game has been changed due to the improvements and optimization, saves that were made before today's update will not work, you have to start a new game to experience the new build. We are aware that it may be small trouble but with such deep and extensive changes, it was absolutely justified to sacrifice compatibility between game versions. We hope this small inconvenience will be balanced with your refreshed game experience and you will be blown away by the progress we made!
Survive the siege with your favorite content creators!
To spread the word about the game in the world we decided to share an extended preview version of the game to media and content creators. You can check a special version of the gameplay today and in the following days by visiting some YouTubers and Streamers. The Preview version of the game is a week longer than the Prologue and has access to parts of the city, buildings, recipes, and characters not shown anywhere before! If after playing the new Prologue you have to know what is the next chapter of the story, be sure to look for videos and content on Youtube and Twitch!
We also prepared our short narrated video showing some gameplay after day 7, so it would be great if you could leave some love for the game in the comments and a thumb up if you like the changes!
