You find yourself trapped in a nightmare filled with strange sights and oppressive monsters, and the only way to escape is to go through each door and face the visions on the other side. But what happens after that is up to you. In What Hides in Dreams, death leaves scars. Being captured by a monster leaves a permanent stain on your psyche that affects the game's story. But the monsters can also perish by your hand, which yields its own consequences.
