Whacking Hell!

The gates of hell have opened: whack all the monsters before they whack you! Collect their souls, ramp up your weapons and your spells, and become a slaughtering machine in this frantic roguelite top-down 2D shooter!

Multiple players told us that the hitboxes were too unforgiving: the slightest intersection between our character and an enemy would register as a hit. They were also inconsistent with the isometric perspective: our character would take a hit when its head was in front of an enemy located behind. We fixed this issue by making slightly smaller hitboxes for both our character and the enemies, and not including heads (when they are above the bodies) in the hitboxes.
