[h1]Movement[/h1] [h2]Rail Grinding[/h2] [list] [*] Rail acceleration is now influenced by the angle of the rail (this is in addition to the flat acceleration received prior to this update). This also applies to deceleration. If you are not ducking, the angle will slow you down half as much [/list] [h2]Sliding[/h2] [list] [*] Increased the speed boost received from falling onto a slope [*] Fixed a bug where the slope angle was reversed, resulting in extremely harsh slow downs on flat terrain [/list] [h1]Tutorials[/h1] [list] [*] This updates introduces 2 new tutorials, an overhaul of some existing tutorials, and changes to how tutorials are accessed. [*] Reworked Movement (now called Movement 101) tutorial [*] Reworked Orders tutorial [*] Added Advanced Movement tutorial [*] Added Zen tutorial [*] Small changes to all tutorials in regards to transitioning from a tutorial (your run will now be forcibly reset, or you will be sent back to the titlescreen) [*] Tutorials are now all accessed from the Training screen in the Gamemodes menu. This is the only way to access the Advanced Movement tutorial as it is optional [*] Skipping a tutorial from the pause menu will now only skip the active tutorial [/list] [h1]Orders[/h1] [list] [*] The Orders compass is now more compassy [*] Fixed a bug where the compass could only show 50 needles. If the order number exceeded 50, new orders would simply have never been assigned a needle. This is a no longer the case [/list] [h1]Clean Up[/h1] I've decided to remove 2 things in this update: Slingshot targets, and the Wood Pecker obstacle. [h2]Slingshot Targets[/h2] These have been removed as there were only five of them, 2 of which were right next to each other and 1 was completely useless. There are now standard rails where 3 of these once stood. [list] [*] The slingshot can now only be used in the Orders gamemode to destroy missiles and Hover Tanks. It can also be used in Zen when obstacles are enabled [/list] [h2]Wood Peckers[/h2] (These are the rail mounted lasers that you need to duck under) I've removed these as when watching playtest footage, I often see people not understanding that they can be ducked under, so there just is not much point in them existing. Rail Ducking is also now used for gaining speed (it was initially added just for this obstacle) [list] [*] They have all been replaced with the standard laser wall (with some being completely removed) [*] Rail Ducking is now taught in the Advanced Movement tutorial [/list] [h1]Other[/h1] [list] [*] You can now scroll though the list of your actions (orders completed, time splits, etc.) at the end of a run [*] Fixed a bug where the resolution scale option was only applied on medium graphics quality [*] LOD improvements [/list]
