Hey everyone, i was in Gamescom Latam!

Trying to bring a little life to the community here, I wanted to share my most recent experience earlier this May—my participation at Gamescom Latam! For those who don’t know much about the behind-the-scenes of Save My Human, nice to meet you! I’m Cassio, the solo developer behind every line of code, every pixel, every frame of this game. Recently, Save My Human was one of 40 games selected out of nearly 1000 submissions to be featured in the Panorama Brasil showcase at Gamescom Latam—one of the biggest gaming events in the world! It was an incredible validation for me after three years of hard work on this game, and I want to thank everyone who stopped by my booth to play the demo and chat. I had the chance to meet people from every possible corner of the industry—game dev students, audio professionals, programmers, artists, content creators, journalists, podcasters, streamers, publishers, and more. It was an enriching exchange full of lessons and insights. The event truly brought the game closer to the community, and I’ll be forever grateful to Gamescom for that. After so many amazing conversations, I’ve solidified the next steps for the project—and I’ll be announcing them to you soon! But I can already share that the first milestone post-event will be the official launch of the demo here on Steam. So if Save My Human isn’t on your wishlist yet, now’s the time! As soon as I launch it, you’ll get notified and be able to play the same demo everyone tried at Gamescom! The version showcased at the event was very well received and praised, and I’m now working on some final bug fixes and polishing a few new features to make the demo even stronger. I’ll be sharing a date very soon! Also, a big thanks to everyone who sent kind messages and words of encouragement—I'm incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful people around me pushing me forward every day. Last but definitely not least, a huge shoutout to Caio and Eron—amazing friends who helped me at the booth during all 60 hours of the event. None of this would have been possible without their support! Big hug, Cassio
