v1.5.0.1 Experimental

Highlights
★ Player boat and weapon masses have been overhauled, making mass matter more for boat handling. Engine properties have also been tweaked, with more unique heating, cooling, and flank speed behaviors across the boats. Flank Speed is always sufficient to accelerate a boat to its maximum speed, temporarily sidestepping the effects of mass on top speed. Boat handling also tweaked. ★ Aircraft dive speeds greatly nerfed across the board and now increase incrementally with variant quality. IJN aircraft numbers and weapons nerfed, while US aircraft have improved weapons. All aircraft weapons have dramatically increased accuracy so their shots land entirely in the targeting circle, and also so dogfights resolve more quickly. ★ The utility weapons, M4 Autocannon, M3 AT Gun and M2 Mortar, all have their total damage doubled.
Additions
- Added ability to rebind map panning from arrow keys. - Added minimap visual of locations that have active smoke.
Balance
- Mark 14 Torpedo now has an arming time of 8 seconds after launch, during which its magnetic detonator will be inactive and it will behave like an ordinary contact fuse torpedo. - Mark 15 Torpedo cost reduced from 4000 RP per torpedo to 3500 RP per torpedo. - Air wing spawn tables overhauled to scale more gradually with threat and airbase development level, resulting in a more moderate amount of planes being spawned. - Night time effective threat reduction increased from 1.5 to 2.5 levels, further reducing air presence; on both sides, at night. - Player MGs given a dramatic increase in splash radius, making them noticeably more effective against small targets with components that are bunched together. - Mark 24 and Mark 27 turning performance increased. - Reduced strategic target (carrier groups) territorial aggressiveness. - 81' Prototype HP multiplier increased to 1.1. - RP crate lifetime increased to 25 minutes from 5 minutes, capture radius increased from 40 to 60.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed missing Mk 28 torpedoes on the Higgins, fixed Mk 28 being named Mk 21 in loadout screen. - Fixed crew personal weapons that stopped working since v1.5.0.0. - Fixed defensive units appearing as double in the engagement preview clipboard. - Fixed friendlies being attacked by new friendly air groups on the map.
