A medieval city under siege and a handful of civilians are all that keep the walls from falling. Mixing survival strategy and resource management, build your camp, craft supplies, and scavenge the occupied city to supply the last troops holding back the invaders.
Greetings, Survivors!
We wanted to give you the latest update on the development of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis.
We’re pleased to say that everything seems to be going well and we’ve got some great news regarding the upcoming Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition: we’ll be there with an updated demo allowing you to play the opening prologue of the game.
On top of that, our awesome soundtrack DLC is available for wishlisting too!
From everyone here at the studio, we want to thank you for your patience and cheer; we couldn’t do this without you. We are still getting lots of constructive feedback from those of you who have already tried the Prologue, so please keep it coming as your help and opinions are invaluable. We’re working hard to make Siege Survival even better, so we are thankful for your understanding, regarding our decision to allocate some more time before release.

Instead of giving you a long list of things we added, changed, updated, and improved, we thought it will be better to give you a sample of our work and let you compare the changes and improvements for yourselves, although we’ve outlined some of the significant changes below.
Updated Prologue Build for the upcoming Steam Game Festival!
In the prologue, you’ll play through the beginning of the main story and see for yourself all the improvements and changes in the game, many as a result of your feedback and suggestions. You’ll find some significant user interface improvements and user experience changes in the updated prologue demo.

We extended the building mechanics, adding the ability to cancel building orders and dismantle standing buildings which allows you to retrieve some of the materials used in its construction.
The guards’ AI is now more balanced, so you’ll find it easier to perform a sneak attack while holding a weapon and approaching from behind. However, they are now more efficient when searching and will now use arrows if they cannot catch up to your character.
Scavenge features, including movement and fighting, became more intuitive and user friendly since we added some safeguards to ensure players will not get punished too much for making mistakes. But remember, patience is a virtue and the enemy guards are not your friends.
The game economy has been rebalanced, with some changes to what items are and are not available, along with some amendments making some more suited to the vision and immersion in the game.
We added an excellent map extension that will show you supplies available in each city district which will help you plan your scavenging routes more effectively before going out. We also reworked the night actions screen, allowing you to select which items you need on each mission more intuitively and making them easier to remember.

Some of the changes we’ve made are in parts of the game beyond the demo since many of the game mechanics and features are introduced later, but we hope you like what you see so far and we’re working hard to ensure the final release will be all we want it to be and more.
Also, we are happy to announce...
Siege Survival Soundtrack DLC!
We had a lot of positive feedback on the music within the game, so you’ll be pleased to hear that the soundtrack of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis will be available as a DLC and you can wishlist this already.
The soundtrack contains 15 breathtaking tracks composed and recorded by the acclaimed Marcin Przybyłowicz and Magdalena Urbańska. We hope you will find joy in listening to them and appreciate them as much as we do. Be sure to add the Soundtrack DLC to your wishlist!
