Select your weapon, your gadgets and then your play style as you enter ready to take down all the enemies patrolling the level. You can either go in guns blazing, with a mad desire to re-colour the walls red or take a more delicate approach as you sneak your way around the level avoiding detection.
Apologies to everyone who supported the project during its alpha and were excited to see it be taken further but due to a number of reasons I have decided to retire the project.
As a lot of you know there is no "team" behind Sword With Sauce, It's just me, Diatomic Muffin.
Moving forward it became clear that in order to accomplish a lot of the things I wanted for SWS like Multiplayer, linear missions and better enemies/AI then there would need to be a team and a much bigger budget which just wasn't possible unfortunately.
The other main reason was there became a severe loss of focus for the project and the quality wasn't living up to what I wanted. This caused frustration and a lot of extra work to just fix things which then caused even more time loss and things being rushed and a rather unhealthy cycle of development.
So as of 21/03/2018 Sword With Sauce has been released from early access. The game will still be purchasable from steam and will still appear in your library just as before but will now just be called "Sword With Sauce". This decision only means there will be no more updates to the current game.
