We're sorry to announce updating to the new UI was still rushed. We managed to make mouse work but gamepad and keyboard controls were affected and the game became unplayable for some. We're returning to the old version on our default branch and we'll keep the v0.8 on the alpha branch for those who didn't have any issues. We're working on the fixes and we won't add any new features until we clean the mess. Sorry for any inconvenience, Have a healthy and normal 2022!
