Ultra Cop

A challenging retro arcade FPS/TPS straight from the late '90s. The Crime Wars have started and it's up to the Ultra Cops to bring back ultimate justice. Use Mechs, Riot Cars and serious firepower to bring the pain to the criminal underworld in this 6th Generation Y2K inspired game.

Hey guys Another day, another update. I make broken games and make even more broken updates. Here is a new cooked update fresh from the jank oven lol. Changelog:

Redone Jumping code to offset the issues with the double jump
Added an aiming sensitivity slider in the System Settings
Added more sounds to audio mixers
Improved tarp wall collisions on Mission 2
Screamed into a pillow
The issue with how jumping works in the game is still weird and the game is still locked to internally run its code at 60 fps, even though you cool guys own super graphics cards/monitors that try to render the game at 1000 fps, causing Unity to shit the bed. Because of this graphics driver related issue, i reworked the code responsible for calculating the double jumping mechanic. It's simplified and much less fussy about what conditions need to be met. Can't promise that it's completely fixed, but hope remains in the heart of the foolish developer. Also thanks for letting me know about the various sound effects in the game that don't respond to the audio mixers in the volume settings. Really, really sorry about that inconvenience and unintentional, yet possibly humorous scares that it no doubt provided.
What's Next?
There are quite a few things you guys requested, namely new content in the form of missions, survival/horde modes and weapons. I will begin work on that very soon and hopefully have it out to you guys in a timely fashion. It might take a while, seeing as there will be new level assets, animations, sounds, systems, etc. That being said I want to start planning on the next game, and will ask you guys to answer a quick poll somewhere in the future on what style you guys would be most interested in. I have a roadmap, but i'd rather hear from you guys first before i make a game that no one cares about. Cheers - JG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9wrX5Fa25M
