That’s a lot of islands! One reason why we built the world so it’s made of little islands is so that we could restrict explorable areas for each stage, making it easier to navigate. The other reason is so it would be easier to rearrange, add or delete stages during our level designing process. (This proved to be right; we did add and swap around things later.) On a side note, the picture above is a map of the first area of the game. The world (sea) will expand as you play through the game and you’ll get to visit other islands. Also, there are lots of puzzles scattered around which have nothing to do with the main storyline, so once you finish the main quests, it could be fun to revisit the islands again to aim for 100% completion!
