Explaining the screenshot

Fairune: Fragment Isles

Where did all the fairies go? Fairune: Fragment Isles is an action-adventure game where you follow Liana through her journey solving mysteries and puzzles from island to island.

(1)Life For Fragment Isles, the life gauge is shown using pink diamonds on the top left of the screen. No leveling is required in the game, so it’s possible to make progress while avoiding unnecessary battle, but to keep things exciting the gauge is set on the shorter side. It doesn’t mean the game is super difficult though, we’re trying to adjust things so adventuring is fun, not tedious. (2)Icons The icons on the top right show what is assigned to your controller buttons. The magnifying glass is the “Look” command, the bag shows your “Inventory” and the shoes mean “Dash”. The large sword icon shows what you’ve got equipped, and like previous Fairune games you’ll see your ax and pickaxe equipped here too. As for the camera icon next to it… that’s still a secret. (3)Elevation The level design in previous Fairune games divided maps using trees and rocks, but this time the maps are divided by elevation. It looks better, and the maps can be more condensed as well. We’ve tried to be creative so it’s easy to know what level you’re on, so hopefully I’ll get to talk about it in more detail later..
