4 for the Money is a fast-paced, side-scrolling action/platformer featuring gameplay and graphics resembling the greats of the NES era. Except you don't need a Four Score to play 4-player! Sit down alone or with a pack of friends and jump in for the action!
A new level was launched with 5 sections designed to be played with 1-2 players. The original level will remain active as the level to be played with 3-4 players. The setting of the new level is the same as the original. All future levels will be designed with varying arrangements for 1/2 and 3/4 players.
A number of other improvements and bug fixes were made:
-Yellow can now bounce of enemy heads while standing on the ground.
-Wallbot lazer starts more gradually, preventing sudden surprise attacks immediately when they appear on-screen.
-Blue bullet coming from above him right after being hurt no longer occurs.
-Windowed screen now moveable and resizable.
-The boss fight framerate drops should be removed, or at least reduced, for players with this problem.
-FPS changes no longer slow down the game.
-Fixed a bug where enemies would not act through a full area.
-Fixed various audio bugs.
-Fixed a minor issue with custom control assignments.
-Simplified the tutorial slightly.
