Salutations, Duelists! As of Monday, September 9, 2024, a new patch has gone live for NeoDuel: Backpack Monsters. To experience the most recent and up to date build of NeoDuel demo on Steam, make sure you update your game. [u][b][h2]NEW CONTENT FOR THE GAME: 5 NEW UPGRADES[/h2][/b][/u] Here's the five first new Upgrades introduced in this patch which you can see in the image below, and their description listed from left to right: [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44786371/86e67dd2124df73822c087bbe45008fc577aaaa2.png[/img] [olist] [*] [b]Mirror Mail:[/b] Reflect 10% of the damage taken from Attacker type Cosmions. Tired of attacker comps? Are you a high defense comp? This one is for you! [*] [b]Early Visitor:[/b] You get one powerful epic, legendary or astral rarity Cosmion early, but do you trust enough your luck? [*] [b]More Energy:[/b] Increase maximum Energy by 33%. Perfect to pair with other energy based Upgrades. [*] [b]Elemental Synergy:[/b] Cosmions from your most used element have additional 30% Cooldown Reduction; Perfect for all of you one trick ponies. [*] [b]Last Breath:[/b] When you are below 40% Health, Attacker Cosmions gain 100% Critical Chance. Nail that coffin and finish the Duel! [/olist] [u][b][h2]IMPROVEMENTS & ADJUSTMENTS[/h2][/b][/u] [b]Longer battles![/b] Duels are running faster than we want them to be. In the early game they are fine as is, but as you progress in the tournament, they tend to finish faster. We are changing how HP scales up, and as the game progresses, max HP will increases gradually, hopefully fixing this problem. This should make burst and shield strategies weaker. If it's too much, we will adjust accordingly. [b]Fog cap removed[/b] With the coming of 0.9.3 and our introduced Air Dragon, we had diminishing returns for fog and rain, and a hard cap for accuracy and stamina regen. Right now since we have diminishing returns, we feel that we should reward those focusing on that fog mechanic. [b]Optimization of rarity rolls in shop[/b] To better reflect the current Cosmion pool in the shop, we had to change the numbers of appearance of our critters based on the rarity amount. [b][h2]COSMION & ESSENCE BALANCING AND CHANGES[/h2][/b] [b]NEUTRAL BASED COSMION & ESSENCE[/b] [list] [*] Ishu shop cost upped from 4 to 5. [*] Air Khepira: Cooldown upped from 3.5 to 4, and damage has been reduced from a range of from 20-25 to now 18-22 [/list] [b]NATURE BASED COSMION & ESSENCE[/b] [list] [*] Duopon regen value reduced from 5 to 4. [/list] [b]Developer’s Notes: [/b][i] We felt like this healing Cosmion was a bit too strong, so we had to tune it down. [/i] [b]CHANGES TO DRAGON ARCHETYPE[/b] [list] [*] Added +2 damage to all Legendary Dragons [*] Baby dragon damage range changed from 0-0 to 0-1 [/list] [b]Developer’s Notes: [/b][i] Our aim for Dragons was to make them scale in strength as the game progress. But due to them being accessible early on - if you are lucky - duelist rarely picked them due to their low base damage, so adding an additional 2 damage stat should make them worth your time.
