Sit Back and Relax: This game is the antidote to a busy day. It's smooth, it's relaxing, it lets your worries melt away. This game is your moment of zen. As you may know, we have been quiet for the past month or so as we have been testing some new systems to see if they were viable options for us. We have now decided to upgrade Junk Survivor to Unreal Engine 5.3 from the current 4.27 version. This will allow us to take the game to the next level. The biggest change is that players will be able to generate procedural worlds from a seed on every new game they start. This will increase the games life span 10 fold and allow each experience to be unique. The world itself will also increase considerably in size, so exploring it will take some time. The reason we are able to do this is we will be using Unreal Engine 5.3's PCG system which allows you to place points of interest and other game mechanics procedurally down based on a seed. Along with other graphic upgrades Unreal Engine 5.3 brings, we believe this will bring us closer to a product ready for full release. With the ease of releasing on multiple platforms made possible with Unreal engine 5.3, we can now also work towards releasing Junk Survivor on other platforms like X-box and PlayStation. We look forward to sharing more information on this and the process in the next few months as we work towards this release, scheduled for early 2024.
