You’ve inherited your uncle’s potion shop—and a huge debt. Better get brewing! Customize your store, hire heroes to gather ingredients, befriend (or romance) fellow vendors to learn new haggling strategies, and go head-to-head with competitors in this narrative-driven, deck-building shop simulator.
Greetings, fellow potion sellers! I hope you’ve all enjoyed your time in Rafta so far!
We wanted to let y’all know about some issues we’re aware of and looking into. For issues with workarounds, we’ve provided them here. If you have any more information for any of these issues, please let us know!
Roxanne is too powerful
We’re working on taking Roxanne down a notch.
Soft lock after returning to title in the middle of a haggling session
The following sequence of events will result in a soft lock and block user progress:
[olist]
[*]Pressing “Esc” in the middle of a haggling session
[*]Selecting “Title Menu” to return to the title menu
[*]Continuing a save without exiting the game
[/olist]
When you attempt to open the shop, the game will hang once a potion is put on the counter and fail to start the haggle. Other activities, like traveling to Quinn’s shop or trying to upgrade your cauldron, will also be bugged and block the user from progressing the game.
For now, please avoid returning to the title menu in the middle of a haggling session.
Fullscreen display setting results in rendering issues
Alt-tabbing while using the “Fullscreen” display mode, and any other activity on Windows that shifts the focus out of the game, will cause the game to only display a small portion of the screen.
For now, please play using the “Borderless” display option if you are experiencing instability in fullscreen.
My save automatically started with one less time increment
Using the escape key to exit to the title screen while traveling will cause a time increment to increase upon returning to your shop.
Please do not use the escape key to go to the Title screen to reload saves while traveling for now. If you need to reload a save, wait until you have traveled back to Sylvia’s shop to return to the title or you will need to quit the game and start it again.
Checking the deck while haggling and pressing enter is a cursed activity
If you ever click the deck while haggling and then press enter, the screen will darken and the text will distort the more times you press enter. We currently believe that this is Helene trying to claim your (the player’s, not Sylvia’s) soul, so please avoid doing this!
This will result in the screen being opened multiple times increasing the intensity of the darkening screen blur. You’ll need to exit this screen each time you open it.

For now, please avoid tempting Helene and do not press enter while viewing the deck in a haggling session.
Characters are flying up in the air!
Some people are experiencing their fellow vendors floating up in the air.
Closing and rebooting the game will plant them back on the ground.
Baptiste’s investing is unavailable after restarting the game
Baptiste’s investment button is stuck on off on new saves. This happens because Baptiste was sent out on an expedition and the player started a new game by going to the title using the escape key. Currently the using the escape key to go to the title causes the game not to reset properly when new games are started.
I have cards that I shouldn’t have from a previous save
Some players have reported cards from a previous playthrough showing up in their deck builder.. This is probably because the player used the escape key to return to the title to reload the game. Currently reloading the game using the escape key causes the game not to reset properly when new games are started.
Need More Information
We need more information on these issues while we try to reproduce them on our end, so if you’re able to we’d appreciate if you sent the following to support@xseedgames.com:
[olist]
[*] Your save data located here:
[Game Installation Folder]/Potionomics/Binaries/Win64
[*] The additional save data here:
%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Potionomics/Saved/SaveGames
[*] Screenshot of your in-game config settings
[*] Your PC's DxDiag output as a .txt file (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028644/windows-open-and-run-dxdiagexe)
[*] If possible for visible bugs to submit a video with ~30 seconds leading up to the bug occurring[/olist]
Vendors showing up without any UI
Some players have reported that traveling between vendors using the sidebar travel menu causes the vendor UI not to appear. If it’s occurring for you, please send us both sets of save data (as detailed above)!
A reported fix for this is using the travel map instead when selecting areas to visit.
